A little different :)

I have an amazing friend who is the theater teacher at Bonneville High School. They always produce fabulous theater productions every year and right now they are doing Aida. My friend came to me a month or so ago and hired me to design a few headdresses for the princess in the show, Amneris. The style was rock and Egyptian mixed. This is what I came up with!

I'd love to do something like this again! If anyone knows of someone who needs a designer or is interested in my stuff, please let me know. Prices will be negotiated based on their desires and budget.

Something Creative

One of the many classes that I am taking this semester at Weber State University is Stage Costume. It is taught by the amazing Catherine Zublin (probably the most talented costume designer I have ever met) and is turning out to be a ton of fun! We had a wonderful lesson on being creative this week (which I will be posting notes about because there is just too much goodness not to share) and for today's class we were asked to write a paper about something that we do that is creative. I decided to write about my little headband business-thing, Forget Me Knot. And Again!

So the same sweet girl from the last post bought another headband from me! And she also ordered a couple that she will be receiving this week! I'm super excited that she loves them so much! Here are some pictures of the latest headband bought by the beautiful Mallary!

Little Gifties!

I just finished up a show I was in and for a closing night gift for my girls that did the show with me I made some headbands out of the same fabric as their dresses! It was way fun and the director even let us wear them during the show! It was super fun.

There are few things I love more than having someone love something I have created. It just feels good inside. Ya know? That warm fuzzy feeling? It's super nice. Try it sometime!
